The giant sand sculptures are returning this summer.\nFor the fifth consecutive year\, Peddler’s Village will present a Village-wide sand sculpture display created by world-renowned sand artists. “Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip” will celebrate the iconic landmarks and history of our nation\, now in its 250th year. \nIt’s not every day you can travel across the county in just an hour or two (by foot\, no less!) to experience the five major regions–Northeast\, Southeast\, Midwest\, Southwest\, and West–and the fantastic features of each. But this year at Peddler’s Village\, we’ve made it possible! You’ll see the Statue of Liberty\, the Kennedy Space Center\, Mount Rushmore\, the Golden Gate Bridge\, and more. \nThis free display is open to the public and will be on view to Village pedestrians through August 31. \nIn addition to viewing the sand sculptures\, visitors can shop at 60 specialty store and boutiques\, dine indoors or outside\, and enjoy spectacular gardens and landscaping. Families can enjoy Giggleberry Fair\, the indoor fun center. Spacious overnight accommodations are available at the Golden Plough Inn.

This family-friendly weekend event features live music\, food trucks\, a beer garden\, pick-your-own fruit\, and us!\nTake a break from the festivities to visit with some of our awesome adoptable dogs and dedicated volunteers. Our pups are always up for belly-rubs\, and our volunteers will gladly answer your questions about our rescue\, adoption process\, and foster/volunteer opportunities.\nPlease join us – you might just meet your next best friend!\nOur Meet & Greets are a great way to get to know us\, ask questions\, and meet some of our adoptable dogs. While we do not process adoptions at these events\, approved adopters can meet potential forever family members and bring them home at an adoption appointment later that same day if he/she is a fit with the whole family.\nAlready an approved adopter and hoping to meet your new family member at this event? Please bring cash or check for the adoption fee. For those just considering adopting\, our Meet & Greets are a great way to get a feel for the types of dogs we have available.
