SUMMARY:Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip
DESCRIPTION:Buckle up and unfold your map! The giant sand sculptures are returning this summer.\nFor the fifth consecutive year\, Peddler’s Village will present a Village-wide sand sculpture display created by world-renowned sand artists. “Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip” will celebrate the iconic landmarks and history of our nation\, now in its 250th year. \nIt’s not every day you can travel across the county in just an hour or two (by foot\, no less!) to experience the five major regions–Northeast\, Southeast\, Midwest\, Southwest\, and West–and the fantastic features of each. But this year at Peddler’s Village\, we’ve made it possible! You’ll see the Statue of Liberty\, the Kennedy Space Center\, Mount Rushmore\, the Golden Gate Bridge\, and more. \nThis free display is open to the public and will be on view to Village pedestrians through August 31. \nIn addition to viewing the sand sculptures\, visitors can shop at 60 specialty store and boutiques\, dine indoors or outside\, and enjoy spectacular gardens and landscaping. Families can enjoy Giggleberry Fair\, the indoor fun center. Spacious overnight accommodations are available at the Golden Plough Inn.

DESCRIPTION:SummerFest is a free community event hosted by Valley Forge Baptist and Upper Providence Township\, featuring family-friendly entertainment\, local food vendors\, and a fireworks finale.\nHighlights include:\nFaith & Blue community event with opportunities to meet the Upper Providence Township Police and explore emergency/service vehicles through a Touch-a-Truck experience.Family activities and games such as Grandpop Bubbles\, a video game trailer\, axe throwing\, face painting\, an indoor playland\, LED mini golf\, and a zipline.Food trucks and vendors offering a wide variety of options\, including pizza\, wings\, burgers\, hot dogs\, wraps\, kebabs\, smoothies\, coffee\, ice cream\, shaved ice\, donuts\, African cuisine\, fried foods\, sweet corn\, and more.Fireworks show at 9:00 PM\, with viewing from the township fields. Designated areas on Field 6 will be available for blankets and chairs.\nParking & Transportation\nOff-site parking is available at Black Rock Park.Complimentary shuttle service will run from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM\, except during the fireworks display.\nRain Date: August 2\, 5:00–9:30 PM.\nSummerFest offers an evening of community connection\, family entertainment\, food\, and fireworks for residents and visitors of all ages.
