Lions Pride Park is a popular destination for families looking to enjoy a nice day out at the playground. Lots of room to play that includes slides, challenging obstacles, a music area and more! I recommend getting here early or later in the day as it can fill up quickly. There are plenty of places to sit and have lunch too. Some of the obstacles are best for older children, but with all the areas to play there is something for everyone! The two big features of the new park are The Grove and Kids’ Mountain. The Grove consists of a plaza, picnic tables, hammocks, and more. Kid’s Mountain is an exciting state-of-the-art play area fully accessible to people of all abilities, include swings, slides, climbing towers, and rope bridges. The topography will lend itself to climbing, sledding, walking, and enjoying the views.
