Ye Olde Yardleyville Festival

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Ye Olde Yardleyville Festival, a collaborative event facilitated by Gather Place and Yardley Friends Meeting. Experience the spirit of Yardley Borough’s evolution from Yardleyville (est. 1682) while promoting community unity and peace. Family-friendly for all ages! Free and open to the public (donations welcome).
Enjoy storytelling, reenactments, and traditional food and music as you explore Yardley’s rich history. A free shuttle will run continuously between locations (all walkable), and guests may join at any time during the event.

• Yardley Friends Meeting House, 65 N Main Street, Yardley, PA 19067 (main parking location)
• Gather Place at the Historic AME Church of Yardley, 188 S Canal Street, Yardley, PA 19067
Event Schedule
1:00 PM – Yardley Friends Meeting House – Welcome to all guests, Program Kickoff and traditional olde English refreshments.
1:30 – 3 PM – Gather Place at the Historic African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church of Yardley (est. 1877): Inside, experience the spirit of 1800s Yardleyville through diverse cultural traditions and period-dressed storytellers. enjoy engaging history. Outside, enjoy traditional food (fish fry, mac & cheese, greens, cornbread) and soft inspirational sounds under the big white tent.
3:00 PM – Two Options:
1. Join the Underground Railroad Guided Walking Tour, beginning at Gather Place and following the Delaware Canal State Park towpath (Lock #5) – Space is limited to 30 walkers; advance RSVP is required – contact us at info@gatherplace.org.
2. Travel back in time at the Yardley Friends Meeting House – experience the spirit of 1800s Yardleyville with a Quaker experience featuring historical displays, storytellers, and traditional olde English refreshments.
4:00 – 5 PM – Yardley Friends Meeting House – all guests return for the Closing Program & Event Conclusion
