Glow in the Park

During Glow in the Park, TreeTrails Adventures transforms into a magical fairy land of glittering and colorful lights. Add a little music, and this is a must-do date night or fun for the entire family. Jam out during your climb that includes 60 aerial challenges and zip lines. Glow in the Park tickets provide a perfect adventure for ages 7 to adult with fun for all levels of climbers. Climb after dark, dance to the music and experience the magic of TreeTrails at night.

New this season! Tim’s BBQ, in the Grove at Phoenix Sport Club, will offer a full menu and yard games! Work up an appetite in the forest and satisfy your hunger in the Grove. These events are very popular, so advance reservations are recommended.

Access to the Park’s most difficult trails wraps up beginning 45 minutes prior to park closing. This allows for trail completion before closing time.

32nd Annual Doylestown Arts Festival

Details: This September 9th & 10th the Doylestown Arts Festival returns for its 32nd anniversary!

Featuring over 150 independent artists, live music on 5 stages, and activities for all ages, this is not a weekend to miss.
The festival will run from 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine, is FREE to the public.

Toddler Time at Churchville Nature Center

 every Tuesday and Friday from 10:00am – 11:00am through 11/3

Location: Churchville Nature Center

Cost: $15/ 1 Child and 1 Adult pair

Details: Toddler Time is a Mommy or Daddy (or grandparent) and toddler class especially designed for children ages 1-5 years old.
This program is a fun and educational adventure for young children to be introduced to the wonders of animals and the natural world. Guests will experience close encounters with our friendly animal ambassadors, story time, music, crafts, and movement. Toddler Time is a unique and memorable experience for both moms/dads/grandparents and children. Having the opportunity to get up close and personal with our animals at the Barn Nature Center is sure to nurture your child’s natural curiosity and respect for other living things.

This class begins at 10:00am and runs until 11:00am on Tuesdays and Fridays during the school year! Summer days and times may vary. The class is $15 for an adult child pair, and $10 for each additional child or adult.

58th Annual Polish American Family Festival and Country Fair

Location: The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa 654 Ferry Road Doylestown, PA 18901

Cost: $15/pp admission

Details: Visitors to the festival witness demonstrations by historical re-enactors of the seventeenth century Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (known as the Banner of Jasna Gora) and the World War II Living History group, daily shows of Polish traditions, and a crafters’ village. One of the most delicious ways to enjoy Polish culture is to sample the wide variety of Polish cuisine available for purchase. The festival menu includes smoked and grilled kielbasa, pierogi, potato pancakes (placki), stuffed cabbage rolls (gołąbki), pastries, and Polish beer. Festival favorites such as funnel cake, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and water ice are also available. Since 2018, a new feature at the festival has been our Polish Vodka Tasting experience.

Scarecrows in the Village

9/11-10/29

Location: Peddler’s Village

Details: Celebrating 44 years of Scarecrows in the Village
An autumn tradition continues starting September 11! For six fun-filled weeks, over 100 scarecrows line the brick pathways of our autumn-tinted Village. Some are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations. The display is free and on view every day through October 29. Guests are invited to vote on their favorite scarecrows through October 9 and the creators of the winning scarecrows receive prizes.

Details: Scarecrow Festival on Saturday & Sunday, September 16 & 17 is a weekend of fall family fun including scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment and children’s activities. The event hours are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both days. Peddler’s Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free. Event is rain or shine.

The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular

Location: Sesame Place

Details: Come in costume and celebrate silly, not-too-spooky fun at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haven and guests can enjoy trick-or-treating, Halloween-themed shows and parades, participating in our Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite furry friends dressed up in costume!

Wood Fall Decorations

Details: You are welcome to join us as we celebrate the arrival of fall by making wooden decorations. Participants will be given a 4 x 4 piece of wood to create a fall decoration. You will be given paints to create a pumpkin or any other fall decoration you can imagine! This program is intended for ages 8 and up. Guardians must stay with children under 12. Bucks Fall Food Truck and Music Fest

One of the largest food truck fests in Bucks County with live music mixed into this fun family event. Monarch Bon Voyage Party

Wish our monarch butterflies farewell as they start their southern migration on Sunday, September 17th during the Monarch Bon Voyage Party! Register for either the AM Session (10am-12pm) or PM Session (1pm-3pm). Enjoy a final tour of the butterfly house, make some crafts, and witness the release of butterflies at the end of each session. Admission is FREE for CNC Members and $6/person for non-members. For an additional $5 fee, you can tag a monarch. Limited tags and spaces are available, so registration is required.
