Experience the vital connection between nature & agriculture through demos, tastings, workshops, local organizations, and the history of Fox Chase Farm as an important green space and education center for Philadelphia.

Everything is Cash only. There is no ATM or MAC. We cannot accept credit cards or any other type of payment.
Gates will be open noon-4 p.m.
🚫 No Pets. (This is a farm rule for the health and safety of the livestock and visitors.)
Adults are responsible for their children.
Participate at your own risk.
🚫NO parking on the farm. Please park on Pine Rd. Access for authorized vehicles and ADA individuals both with visible permits/placards. (Rangers will be at intersection for support.)
PARKING &
SHUTTLE BUS STOPS 🚍
Parking available along Pine Rd. and at the Pine Road Parking Area.
Parking is also available at the Pennypack Environmental Center and Verree Road Parking Area (shuttle bus stops) as well as Champions Playground and along Verree Rd. (Visitors must walk to shuttle stops for pickup.)
Shuttle bus will pick-up and drop off at the Pennypack Environmental Center & Verree Road Parking Area (Parking Lot 2), which are both also accessible by the 67 bus.
This program is all-weather, all outdoor. Please dress for the weather, walking, and standing.
The bathrooms are accessible, however, road to activities is a .33 mile walk, plus hills, some uneven pavement and ground, rocks, mud, and animal poo.
Everything is subject to change, but will be communicated via Facebook and the Sheep Shearing event page discussion.
Photos will be taken of participants during this program for use by the Pennypack Environmental Center and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation.
