Feel the rhythm with an interactive percussion performance from the graduate percussion group at University of Delaware, complete with instrument show-and-tell and a chance for kids to try child-safe percussion instruments. Join us in our FREE Kids Catch and Release Weekend on March 14th and 15th from 11am-4pm to fish the Cabela's Outdoor Pond! (Weather Permitting) If temperatures are too cold to fish outdoors, we will be providing an indoor fishing option. Everyone gets a chance to fish!We will have a set number of lines in the water and have a 20-minute wave time during our busy periods. Budding scientists and artists of all ages, bring your curiosity and get hands-on with nature! Participants will rotate through five “maker stations” to paint rocks, dissect owl pellets, customize a reusable canvas tote bag, mold wildflower seed bombs, and create pinecone bird feeders. Inspiration will flow as we learn about local wildlife, plant life cycles, and sustainable choices while making up to five take home art projects.
