  • Scarecrows in the Village

    Every day from September 7 through October 26 An autumn tradition continues! For six fun-filled weeks, over 100 scarecrows line the brick pathways of our autumn-tinted Village. Some are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations. The display is free and on view every day through October 26. Guests can vote for their favorite scarecrows via the Peddler’s Village mobile app. Creators of the winning scarecrows in each category win prizes.   Scarecrow Festival September 19 & 20 A weekend of fall family fun including scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment, and children’s activities. The event hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on both days. Click here to learn more. Scarecrow-Making Workshops September 19, 20, 26 Construct a life-size scarecrow to take home.   • The Lion King KIDS

    AGES 8-12 This camp is currently at cast capacity. Journey to the African savanna with The Lion King KIDS! This vibrant musical adventure brings to life the beloved story of Simba, a young lion who must find his courage and take his place as king. Filled with unforgettable songs like “Hakuna Matata” and “Circle of Life,” dazzling characters, and powerful themes of family and responsibility, The Lion King KIDS is a heartwarming celebration of love, bravery, and the circle of life itself. Perfect for audiences of all ages, this colorful production will have you roaring with joy! Rehearsals: October 13 - November 13 Performances: Saturday, November 14 at 1:00pm & 4:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church Please note: Our Kids shows are shorter in length and use minimal costumes, props, and sets. For a more fully staged experience, check out our Junior and Mainstage shows! Approximate run-time is 35 minutes. No intermission. Tickets are Pay-What-You-Will and all donations help support Servant Stage's Youth Theatre program!

There will be Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, Balloon Art, Music, Bounce Houses, Pony Rides, a Petting Zoo and our special guest Go with YOYO!     Our annual Holiday Festival, held in the Victorian splendor of our 1892 Public School Building decorated for Christmas, is a Kutztown tradition that kicks off the holiday season. Get a head start on Christmas shopping with our talented group of artists and craftsmen, eat a home cooked meal, see our H-O train display running to its fullest, and enjoy time with friends. There is also a quilt raffle, as well as a raffle for items donated by our vendors and the Kutztown community. NO ADMISSION FEE. We hope to see you all.
