WCPL Halloween Door Tour

The West Chester Public Library is proud to present their Halloween Door Tour, sponsored by Monkey Fish Toys. For a minimum donation of $15, receive a printable map with participating locations in the West Chester Borough. These porches and doors will be SPOOKTACULAR! Visit the locations from October 17th through October 31st.  Please respect the neighborhood and locations as you walk by. Your map will be emailed on or before October 15th or you can pick up a paper copy at the library beginning October 15th. Click here to donate & secure a map! HAUNTED HAYRIDES AND HAUNTED HEDGE MAZE

Not recommended for children under 8. Haunted Hedge Maze Wind through the tall, dark hedges with monsters waiting around every corner.   Welcome to Haunted Gardens! For over 30 years, Colonial Gardens have run haunted events for our community. This year, come get your screams in with our Haunted Hayrides and Haunted Hedge Maze! While you're here, shop pumpkins and Halloween décor to pumpkin spice up your home. Ticketing this year will exclusively take place online to help us with timed ticketing and to reduce indoor time and contact with our staff. Haunted Gardens events are not recommended for children under the age of 8, however, we understand that each child is different, and parents can use their discretion in bringing younger children to this event. Please remember that unused tickets are non-refundable. For younger crowds, we recommend visiting our website, colonialgardenspa.com, for information about our daytime events or checking out our Children's Night Hayride. Haunted Hayride Our Haunted Hayride features a 30-minute ride through our haunted woods, monsters hiding in the shadows of every tree. Get ready for surprises, screams, and good old-fashioned scares on our most popular attraction. Tickets are purchased for a designated arrival time to help us ease parking, however, riders may ride later than the arrival timeslot depending on crowds. Hayrides begin at 7pm. Want to skip the line? Don't want to sit with strangers? Groups can book a private wagon for a flat rate of $408.16. There is no minimum number of guests, but wagons can accommodate 20-25 people depending on the age and size of guests. Haunted Hayride Ticket for One person Ages 12+: $21.65 (with 2.65 in fees) Haunted Hayride Ticket for One person Ages 3-11: $19.48 (with 2.48 in fees) Private Wagon for up to 25 People: $375 Haunted Hedge Maze Our outdoor haunted hedge maze winds you through thick, dark hedges--into the clutches of monsters lurking just around the corner. Tickets for this attraction can be purchased separately, but we encourage guests to book a combination ticket with the hayride to save a few dollars and make the most of their fun. The Haunted Hedge Maze tickets can be used after you ride your hayride. Children’s Night Hayrides

2025 Dates – October 15, 16, 20, 21, 22 7pm to 8:30pm Take a ride through our woods with eerie lights and a few monsters. This event is for children and families who want a mild scare. Make it a night for the family during Children's Night Hayrides! Children's Night Hayrides run from 7pm-8:30pm on October 15, 16, 20, 21, 22! Booking on ticketsauce is the only way to guarantee your ticket for this event! Children's Night Hayride & Pumpkinland Mazes Our Children's Night Hayride gives young riders a chance to experience a slightly spookier hayride through our woods at night. The Children's Night Hayride is appropriate for most children. Spooky elements include darkness, spooky scenes, eerie lights, loud noises, and some monsters that keep their distance. We rely on parents to make the right decisions for their family. Children ages 2 and under participate in our events for free when accompanied by a paid adult. Your timeslot indicates your arrival time. You may wait in line and right later than your time slot, depending on crowds. Our children's mazes allow children to wind, climb, and play through three different small mazes. Ticket holders receive a wristband which gives the wearer unlimited runs through the mazes throughout the event. These mazes are also open in the daytime, alongside our Daytime Hayride, if this event runs past your child's bedtime. Combination Ticket for Children's Night Hayride and Pumpkinland Mazes: Ages 12+: $18 Ages 3-11: $16 Hayrides are not available for separate purchase, but we understand that some children are too young for the hayride, but would still like to participate in Pumpkinland and the mazes. Trick or Treat Train

A 60-minute Trick or Treat Excursion where children are invited to dress in their costumes, we will bring to life the tale of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, trick-or-treating around the station platform. Kids Halloween Crafting Party!

Join us on Saturday, October 18th or on Sunday, October 19th for a fun-filled Halloween crafting party for the kids! This event includes two craft projects for each participant! Let their creativity go wild with a Faux Pumpkin for painting and decorating. With our wide array of paint colors and embellishments, the options are endless! Also included is our adorable Halloween Themed Layered Wood Animal project. Each child will choose from one our three designs, paint and embellish as desired, and then assemble. These adorable Halloween characters are self-standing and will make the perfect addition to their spooky decor! Ticket price of $42.00 per child includes all project materials and supplies, small group instruction by our energetic staff, as well as a spooky snack and a drink! The Great Pumpkin Carve of Chadds Ford

An annual Chadds Ford tradition, the three-day event highlights over 70 giant pumpkins carved into amazing creations. Carvers work through the early evening on Thursday and then illuminate their masterpieces by candlelight. Guests can view the carvers at work Thursday and the finished products Friday and Saturday. In addition to the pumpkin patch, there is a Haunted Trail, live music and local artisans selling their handmade wares and goods. Food and Fall treats are offered by area eateries along with local craft beer and wine.
