Step into the world of Mossy Bottom Farm and join Shaun the Sheep™ and his flock of friends for a baa-rilliant adventure! Shaun the Sheep™: Flock This Way! is a hands-on exhibit that encourages playful problem-solving and resilience through fun, quirky activities inspired by Aardman’s award-winning animations. This exhibit blends active play, creativity, and imagination in a safe, lighthearted space where kids can jump, climb, balance, and create together. What kids can do: 🐑 Get busy in the barn: hop on balance boards, traverse climbing walls, and test your skills on farmyard tires. 🎭 Dress for adventure: try on “championsheep” costumes. 🏡 Crack the farmyard rules: figure out the puzzles to light up the farmhouse windows. 🐶 Play with Bitzer: mix and match his face to invent new expressions. 🌳 Rescue the flock: help a sheep stuck high in a tree. 🎬 Make your own movie: create a stop-motion animation with scrap-heap props. 🚜 Hop in the truck: pretend to drive into the village. 📚 Cozy up: grab a sheep seat and enjoy story time with farm-themed books

Get an up-close look at sea creatures and uncover the secrets of this wiggly water world. (Day-of sign-up required) Live Performance: Lightyears AwayEnjoy a special sensory-friendly performance by Philly Sensory Theatre that’s out of this world! Rolling Weather LabStep inside The Planet Earth Challenge’s mobile lab and explore how clouds form, storms grow, and how weather shapes our planet. Recycle Roundup RelayTeam up and race against the clock in this high-energy game to help save the planet through recycling fun! Build a Water FilterThink like an environmental scientist as you design and test your own water filtration system and learn how to keep our water clean. Recycled Art StudioGet creative by turning recycled materials into textured art tiles using cardboard paper pulp—because art can be eco-friendly, too! Storytime: Willow Takes on the WeatherJoin our educators for a special reading about learning to embrace the weather, rain or shine. Little Explorers Activity (Ages 3 & Under)Help protect earthworms—nature’s tiny helpers—by practicing fine motor skills as you move them from hot sidewalks to cool grass.  The best part?   • Sacred Arts Festival

    Experience religious art in the making! Watch artists work with metal, glass, sand, stone, eggs, and ink to create stunning expressions of faith. This is the only day of the year that all the galleries and the Tower are open for self-guided exploration. While here, visit the temporary exhibition The Sacred Art of Ethiopia and enjoy family-friendly activities.   • STEMFest 2026

    STEMFest at the American Helicopter Museum is a family event dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Hosted by the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center, STEMFest offers students and families hands-on learning experiences focused on aviation, engineering, and all things STEM.   The event features two days of interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, science shows, food trucks, helicopter rides (additional fee), and tabletop activities led by community and industry professionals. Participants will be able to watch a drone fly, build a model rocket, talk to a pilot, and interact with companies that are creating the technology of tomorrow.   STEMFest will offer an educational experience that inspires the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators—where learning truly takes flight.
