Join SLNC’s awesome Environmental Educator, Tie Matecha, for this great class! Learn how to fold origami butterflies and herons. We will discuss the origins of the ancient art of origami as well as the ecological importance of butterflies and Great Blue Herons. This event is designed for adults and children ages 8+. Eggs In the Wild: A Raptor Adventure

Berks Nature 575 St. Bernardine Street, Reading

Bring the entire family to The Nature Place for a fun-filled aternoon of nature, wildlife, and outdoor adventure! During the Raptor Egg Hunt, kids will hunt for camouflaged "raptor eggs" hidden across the Nature Play Zone - each one filled with candy and stickers for a wild surprise. Then meet real raptors up close during an exciting LIVE bird show, presented by the John James Audubon Center. As the sun sets on this memorable day, we'll keep the good times going with a cozy campfire, complete with hot dogs and s'mores! Please note, end times are approximate.
