Seek out the day’s wonders at the Arboretum, uncovering plants, animals, and other seasonal highlights that bring the landscape to life. Led by knowledgeable guides, your adventure may take you to the pond, through shady woodland trails, or into sunny meadows — each offering its own unique discoveries. Using simple tools like magnifying glasses, you’ll take a closer look at the natural world and learn more about its hidden connections. About your guide: Forest Knight is one of Tyler’s Lead Educators. Forest joined Tyler’s Education Department in April of last year, and they help run the Arboretum’s field trips and summer camp programs. They have a love of nature and have worked in the outdoor education field for 4+ years.  PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED The program is best suited for elementary school-aged children accompanied by an adult. Family and siblings of any age are welcome. Check in at the Visitor Center, where you’ll meet your guide. As with any walk at Tyler, sturdy shoes are suggested.
