The Coatesville Family Fall Fest is a community event for Coatesville families to come together, to enjoy time as a family and to engage in fall activities. Families will gather at Abdala Park to play games, pick pumpkins, eat fall food, display costumes and have fun. Community organizations will also be on hand, giving out candy (or maybe one or two nutritious Fall treats, and sharing community resources and other activities.

Saturday, October 25 • 3:00–6:00 PM 📍 East Falls — hosted by Rutabaga Toy Library (Conrad St. betweeen Sunnyside & Bowman) 👻 WHAT TO EXPECT: • Free to attend; open to all ages • Community parade for all ages (strollers + wagons welcome) • Block party fun: music, games, crafts, and plenty of room to roam • Local vendors + makers and kid-approved activities • Tasty eats from food trucks (bring a few bucks for snacks!) • Photo ops galore—come show off those costumes! 💚 DO GOOD WHILE YOU GHOUL: This event helps power Rutabaga’s Scholarship Fund so more Philly families can access play, programs, and borrowing. Your purchases and donations make a real difference.

Sundays Carve-O-Thon™ kicks off the beginning of Yardley’s annual week-long Canal-O-Ween™ festivities! Join us on the corner of Morgan & Fuld Avenue (in the Rivermar neighborhood north of Afton Ave between the river and the canal) for an afternoon of pumpkin carving. Over 400 pre-gutted pumpkins (yes, thanks to gracious volunteers the hard work is done) will be waiting for you and your family to carve! Every evening, beginning at sundown, stroll the Delaware Canal between Afton Ave and Fuld Ave. You’ll be welcomed by over 400 jack-o-lanterns that were carved by members of your local community. If you had the pleasure of attending our Carve-O-Thon™ event, this is your opportunity to try and find your carved pumpkin along the canal!

A Spooky Annual Tradition Returns! Celebrate the season at the 6th Annual Trick-or-Treat Around the Town Center! Families, friends, and trick-or-treaters of all ages are invited to enjoy an evening filled with costumes, candy, and community fun. Stroll through the Town Center as participating shops and restaurants hand out treats, join in on games and activities on the green, dance along with our DJ, and capture the memories at festive fall photo spots.
