Come have some good, CLEAN fun  In this class you will be using alpaca fiber from my animals to wet felt around a handmade bar of soap. This creates an exfoliating washcloth and soap in one. Great for gifts, gardeners, or even just display. On Friday, August 14th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, drop off your stuffed animal or favorite toy at the front desk of the Chester County History Center.* We’ll take them on an adventure through our museum, even into the secret spaces that the public is usually not allowed to go! Don’t worry about missing anything; we’ll share pictures of every adventure through email, so you can check in with your friend and see what they’re up to. At 7:00PM, after we’ve tucked the stuffies into bed, we’ll read them a bedtime story that you can join in by Zoom to read along with us! This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce little ones to the joy of reuniting after a short period of separation. On Saturday, August 15th from 10:00am to 1:00pm, come pick up your friend and enjoy a scrapbooking craft of their adventures. The scrapbooking craft runs continuously, so your family can visit anytime between 10:00am to 1:00pm and still get the full experience! Tickets are $10.00 per stuffed animal, and include admission for one child and one parent or guardian for the Saturday craft activity, with access to the entire museum for the day. Get creative and put a sweet spin on embroidery! Join us for a unique, hands-on cake decorating experience where you'll use colorful sprinkles and tweezers to create your very own embroidered-inspired cake design.   Each guest will receive a 5" x 3" rectangular slice of vanilla cake, layered with vanilla frosting between the layers and a smooth layer of vanilla frosting on top, ready for you to transform into your own sprinkle masterpiece.   You'll have 1.5 hours to decorate your cake at your own pace. All decorating materials will be provided, along with plenty of inspiration to get your creativity flowing. Visit our Sprinkle Bar to choose from a variety of sprinkles, then use tweezers to carefully arrange them into a beautiful embroidered-looking design.   This is a self-guided decorating experience, so you can create a design that's uniquely yours.
