Winter Astronomy (Ages 12+)

Come to our Pleiades Observatory at the Churchville Nature Center and learn about what’s in the night sky this time of year! On Friday, January 23rd at 7:00 pm, learn about the moon and planets, then get the chance to look at them through our telescopes. This program is for adults and children ages 12+. We will begin promptly at 7 pm with a brief walk to the observatory. Expected duration of the program is 2 hours. If you have ADA accessibility requirements, please contact our Public Events Coordinator, Megan (v-mbkeller@buckscounty.org).
**In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Saturday, January 24th**
A note about the weather: It will be cold! This program is entirely outdoors. The observatory is not heated. Please dress warm and expect to walk in the snow. Bringing handwarmers and warm beverages are encouraged!
