Read It, Make It, Eat It For children ages 4 - 10 with adult Saturday January 10th, 11am In our lower level auditorium REGISTRATION REQUIRED THROUGH SIGNUP GENIUS https://www.signupgenius.com/.../10C054FABA82CA1FBC70... YOU DO NOT NEED A SIGNUP GENIUS ACCOUNT TO REGISTER. LOOK FOR THE RSVP NOW BUTTON TO GET STARTED. When you register, you will select from one of the picture books listed, each containing a recipe. Please read the book with your child(ren), make the recipe and bring it to the library to share. We will have paper plates, napkins and eating utensils on hand. Please bring your own serveware. We do have a microwave and a refrigerator in our downstairs kitchenette and we will have a table set up with a power strip available for crock pots if needed. You can pick up your book from Miss Lizzie, our Youth Services Coordinator at the library, who has them checked out and ready for our program. Sign up to share a recipe from our collection of picture books with recipes. Read the story and prepare the dish at home. Bring your dish to the library to share. The library will provide paper plates, napkins, forks and spoons. Please be prepared to bring your own serveware. Miss Lizzie will also provide cards to label your dish and highlight ingredients so that folks can be allergy/food aware.
This fan favorite is back for the third year in a row! Come create a frozen wand and practice yoga to the soundtrack of Frozen. Each child will also have the option for snowy face paint. $22/ child OR $20/child through Venmo. Adults are FREE and encouraged to participate. During this three hour mini-retreat, tweens and teens will practice yoga, create a mini zen garden, participate in mindfulness activities, and enjoy light snacks and time to socialize with peers.
