Buckle up and unfold your map! The giant sand sculptures are returning this summer. For the fifth consecutive year, Peddler’s Village will present a Village-wide sand sculpture display created by world-renowned sand artists. “Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip” will celebrate the iconic landmarks and history of our nation, now in its 250th year. It’s not every day you can travel across the county in just an hour or two (by foot, no less!) to experience the five major regions–Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West–and the fantastic features of each. But this year at Peddler’s Village, we’ve made it possible! You’ll see the Statue of Liberty, the Kennedy Space Center, Mount Rushmore, the Golden Gate Bridge, and more. This free display is open to the public and will be on view to Village pedestrians through August 31. In addition to viewing the sand sculptures, visitors can shop at 60 specialty store and boutiques, dine indoors or outside, and enjoy spectacular gardens and landscaping. Families can enjoy Giggleberry Fair, the indoor fun center. Spacious overnight accommodations are available at the Golden Plough Inn.

The annual Lititz Rotary Club Craft Show is our club’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds being donated back to community charities and service organizations. It typically features roughly 550 vendors in downtown Lititz! Please note: We DO NOT accept online payments. We DO NOT solicit online payments from vendors. Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with an action-packed day of exciting and educational events throughout Newtown! The day will include a Revolutionary-era skirmish outside the Bird in Hand, an Edward Hicks reenactor at Newtown Friends Meeting House, a Civil War band at the Newtown Theatre, a reenactment of the Doan Gang’s robbery of the Bucks County Treasury, historical displays at the Half-Moon Inn (Court Inn), antique fire trucks and equipment at the Newtown Fire House Museum, lobby exhibits at First National Bank & Trust Company, Hessian prisoners and graveyard tours at the Old Presbyterian Church, and more! Celebrate Smokey Bear's birthday (rescued as an orphaned cub in a forest fire on August 9, 1944) by joining your DCNR Park Naturalist for a special hands on exhibit along the Multi-Use Trail about bears of the world. Learn about wildfire prevention and bear safety tips. Discover how bears fit in the ecosystem as both predators and scavengers.  Most bear species are in trouble from habitat loss and poaching exploitation for traditional folk medicines. Explore the diversity of bears found around the world, including Pennsylvania's own American Black Bear, while taking a close up look at skulls, tracks, scat, models and photos of these magnificent animals. Join hundreds of musicians and music lovers to celebrate the 97th Annual Old Fiddler's Picnic! Enjoy the stage show or stroll through Fiddler's Cove to listen as musicians play tunes using a variety of instruments including guitars, banjos and mandolins, performing styles such as bluegrass, old-time, and gospel.
