We as a living history group are very proud to be apart of Valley Forge this year! Please come out and see us display trades and skills of the 18th century and hear how at times we’ve used theses skills in our 21st century lives!

Get ready to honk, climb, and explore at our Touch-A-Truck Event! Bring the kids out for a hands-on experience where they can get up close to their favorite big trucks and vehicles. From emergency vehicles to construction equipment and more, this is a fun and interactive way for children (and adults!) to see these awesome trucks in action and meet the people who operate them. Location: Hickory Park Perfect for families Don’t forget your camera!Come out for a day of discovery, excitement, and plenty of horn honks. We can’t wait to see you there!

We invite kids ages 6–10 and their families to imagine what kindness means to them by making their own interactive storybook on iPad. They’ll draw, record sounds, add fun 3D shapes, and more as they dive into the world of creative storytelling. Devices will be provided. For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.

Create a theme song for a favorite show, book, or game using GarageBand on iPad. We’ll cover rhythm basics, and kids will experiment with drums, add prerecorded loops, and remix their theme song. Bring your iPad or we’ll provide one. Recommended for ages 8–12. For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.

Code and create as a family with Swift Playground using iPad. Kids will experiment with code and design an app using the About Me playground. They’ll use Swift code to customize their app with fun fonts, background colors, emoji, and more. Then you’ll work together to bring their app to life. Recommended for kids ages 10 and up.
