Buckle up and unfold your map! The giant sand sculptures are returning this summer. For the fifth consecutive year, Peddler’s Village will present a Village-wide sand sculpture display created by world-renowned sand artists. “Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip” will celebrate the iconic landmarks and history of our nation, now in its 250th year. It’s not every day you can travel across the county in just an hour or two (by foot, no less!) to experience the five major regions–Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West–and the fantastic features of each. But this year at Peddler’s Village, we’ve made it possible! You’ll see the Statue of Liberty, the Kennedy Space Center, Mount Rushmore, the Golden Gate Bridge, and more. This free display is open to the public and will be on view to Village pedestrians through August 31. In addition to viewing the sand sculptures, visitors can shop at 60 specialty store and boutiques, dine indoors or outside, and enjoy spectacular gardens and landscaping. Families can enjoy Giggleberry Fair, the indoor fun center. Spacious overnight accommodations are available at the Golden Plough Inn.

RiverFest returns bigger than ever as we celebrate 10 years of one of Muhlenberg Township's favorite traditions, along with the Township's 175th Anniversary! For the first time, the entire RiverFest trail will be open on Friday, August 21, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, kicking off the weekend with an evening of live music, great food, cold drinks, and fireworks. Enjoy performances by Vinyl Rush and Bunchafunk before capping off the night with a spectacular fireworks display. The celebration continues on Saturday, August 22, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday, August 23, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Throughout the weekend, festival-goers can explore a wide variety of food vendors, artisan crafters, and local businesses offering unique handmade goods, delicious eats, and one-of-a-kind treasures. Whether you're coming for the music, food, shopping, or family-friendly atmosphere, RiverFest 2026 promises an unforgettable weekend celebrating the rich history and vibrant community of Muhlenberg Township. If your child loves fidgets, squishies and trading, this is the event for them! Aubriella’s Fidget Fest is a fun, organized community fidget trading experience for kids ages 7-14. Participants will enjoy a supervised afternoon of trading their favorite fidgets and squishies, meeting other collectors, making fair trades and enjoying snacks and drinks. Registration is $15 per child and space is limited to 30 participants. A parent or legal guardian must be present with each child participating.
