Join us for Family Funday with PopUpPlay, each Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm. This event is free and open to the public, and all ages are welcome. Activities are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are available while supplies last. Activities include boat building, puppet making, and even constructing a working catapult. Each week promises captivating experiences for kids of all ages with a new make-and-take activity.

Skippack Fire Company will host it’s 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck event on September 13th, 2025 from 10 am to 2pm at Skippack Elementary School. Get up close and personal with fire trucks, ambulances, and more! This fun, family-friendly event lets kids (and adults!) explore emergency, construction, public service and utility vehicles and more. Climb aboard, and meet our first responders along with other community members, like contractors, and township employees. What is it? Touch-a-Truck offers hands-on learning about public safety vehicles and many other oft seen 'cool' trucks. Why do we do it? It’s a chance to build community connections, inspire young minds, and promote fire safety and volunteerism. Bring the whole family for a day of smiles, and surprises! Come see a trash truck, rollback and wrecker, emergency boats, bucket truck and digger, miniexcavator and more! Right now we have confirmations from the Montgomery County Sheriff, Whitetail Disposal, EVB Towing, Refresh A Can, McCauley Tree Service, Source One, Strouse Landscaping, an antique Oshkosh plow truck, Skippack Township, Agostino Utilities, and the 4-H Dairy Club Ice Cream and Grilled Goodness Food Tents! We will have lots of emergency trucks there including those from Skippack Fire Company, Skippack Emergency Medical Services, North Penn Goodwill Service 41, Good Will Fire Company Bridgeport and a fun inflatable obstacle course. We will also be selling Skippack Fire Company T-shirts, Challenge Coins and Raffle Tickets for a signed Eagles Helmet! Agostino Utilities, Wegmans and Source One return this year as major sponsors and Kimberton Whole Foods, Redner's Market, Acme Markets and Max and Ollie's Party Rentals as sponsors. Celebrate fall, pumpkins… and plenty of scarecrows! Scarecrow Festival on Saturday & Sunday, September 13 & 14 is a weekend of fall family fun including scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment, and children's activities. The event hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on both days. Peddler's Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free. Event is rain or shine. While you're enjoying the weekend, stroll around to see Scarecrows in the Village, a showcase of over 150 creative and colorful scarecrows designed by members of the public, now in it's 46th year! The scarecrows are on outdoor display from Monday, September 8 through Sunday, October 26. Dive into fun, enjoy time in the pool, and experience the magic of Neverland right here at Goldfish Swim School. Costumes are welcome, and all are invited! Registration required, but this is a FREE event!

Join us to celebrate 100 Y’EARS of Popcorn with a special Community Day on Saturday, September 13, 2025! We’re throwing an unforgettable event at The Reist Farm, 681 Longenecker Rd, Mount Joy, PA 17552 to thank YOU - our amazing community - for being part of our journey. Free entry for everyone! The event will feature something for everyone, including free hot air balloon rides, a corn maze, hayrides, and a walk-through museum showcasing Reist Popcorn’s history. Families can enjoy corn hole, live music, face painting, balloon animals, a bouncy house, and a table full of games, activities, and prizes for kids. The evening will end with a fireworks show, and throughout the event, guests can enjoy food and dessert trucks, local vendors, and free snacks. For 100 years, Reist Popcorn Company, has been honored to bring farm-to-table, non-GMO popcorn to your homes. We’re grateful for the support of our community and can’t wait to celebrate this incredible milestone with YOU!   Please note: Seating will not be provided, so bring your own chairs or blankets to enjoy the event comfortably.
