Drop your kids off at The Nature Place for a full day of exploring Angelica Creek Park, scientific experiments, and other hands-on activities perfect for the curious, adventure-seeker! You pack the lunch, and we'll take care of the rest! Best for children aged 6+. Please pack a lunch and prepare your child appropriately for the outdoors and weather. Step into the spotlight of creativity and curiosity as we explore nature through photography, film, and art! This month, the Nature Explorers will discover how light, color, and storytelling come together in the great outdoors. From crafting sun prints to creating nature-inspired mini films, this immersive experience blends science, art, and play in the most inspiring classroom of all—nature itself. Scholarships are available! We believe nature should be accessible and welcoming to all. With the support of our donors, Berks Nature is able to offer scholarships to children hoping to participate in the Nature Explorers program that would otherwise be financially unable to. For more information and to apply, please contact Allison Mackley (allison.mackley@berksnature.org). Please note, end times are approximate. Registration closes March 19th

The "Don’t Get Fooled" Full Moon Hike April 1st, 2026 | 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM Think you’ve seen it all? Think again. This April Fools' Day, we’re heading into the McKaig Nature Education Center for a hike that’s 100% real (we promise), even if the date feels suspicious. With sunset at 7:25 PM and the moon rising at 7:19 PM, we’ll be timing our departure from the Roberts Elementary School parking lot just as the shadows start to play tricks on your eyes. Is that a tree stump or a woodland prankster? Only one way to find out! |
