    Elmwood Park Zoo’s favorite family tradition, Wild Lights, returns this November, with more lights and decorative attractions than ever before! During this walk-through experience, guests will be surrounded by dazzling light displays, illuminated animals and live entertainment. November: 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 December: 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 The zoo and Wild Lights will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Wild Lights is held rain or shine.

  • Eco-Family Programs: Owl Prowl with Elmwood Park Zoo

    Whooo’s awake in the dark? Join educators for a night hike to explore the sleeping forest, listen for some nocturnal feathered friends, and experience a close encounter with one of our ambassador owls. Be sure to dress warm and put on your best listening ears This program is part of our Eco-Family Series: engaging programs and workshops that offer a deeper dive into fascinating aspects of the natural world. Registration is required for each program and workshop. Pricing covers the cost of materials and supports the zoo’s conservation efforts. Program Pricing Become a member and save on tickets!   • Free Admission for Norristown Borough Residents to Elmwood Park Zoo

    Tickets are limited. Adults must show photo I.D. as proof of residency. Children must be accompanied by a Borough resident. Non-residents will be charged normal admission rates. Borough residents (19401) are defined by living within the following four boundaries: east of Forrest Avenue south of Johnson Highway west of Sandy Hill Road/E Fornance Street north of the Schuylkill River

  • Brunch with Santa

    Elmwood Park Zoo 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown, United States

    Celebrate the holidays by enjoying brunch with Santa! Enjoy a delicious brunch buffet with your family in our Canopy Gardens Pavilion and meet one of our beloved education animals. Share your holiday wishes with Santa, snap a photo with him, and enjoy exploring the zoo after your scrumptious brunch. There are three brunch sessions each day: 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM and 1:00PM. Space is limited for this event, so please register early and arrive on time. Your ticket includes admission to the zoo, brunch, and a photo opportunity with Santa.   Sessions at 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM and 1:00PM. December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21
