Saturdays, June 13 through September 5 10 am to 4 pm Step into the past this summer at the Speaker’s House with our Living History Saturdays series, kicking off on Flag Day weekend. From Flag Day through Labor Day weekend, the grounds will come alive every Saturday with engaging, hands-on demonstrations that bring 18th-century life into vivid focus. Visitors can explore the daily experiences of Revolutionary War soldiers, witness traditional hearth cooking, and learn skilled crafts like tape weaving and wood turning. Additional demonstrations include historic laundry practices, trades of the period, and other immersive activities that reveal the rhythms of early American life. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply looking for a fun weekend outing, Living History Saturdays offer a dynamic and educational experience for all ages. Join us each week to discover the stories, skills, and traditions that shaped our nation. Location: The Speaker’s House, 151 W. Main St. Trappe, PA. Parking is on-site. The Gay Street Open-Air Market returns for 2026 from Friday, May 1st to Sunday, September 27th!  The Open-Air Market gives residents and visitors more space to shop, eat, and explore town. Four blocks of Gay Street are closed to vehicles every weekend, transforming into a pedestrian-friendly destination that is perfect for outdoor dining, boutique shopping, and leisurely strolls.  Important Details:• Where: Gay Street (from Matlack Street to Darlington Street)• When: Every weekend (Friday morning through Monday morning) from May 1st – September 27th• Website: www.downtownwestchester.com/openairmarket• Parking: www.downtownwestchester.com/parking  General Notes:• The streets are closed from roughly Friday at 8am to Monday at 8am.• Gay Street will also be closed to vehicles on Monday holidays and will start early on Thursdays ahead of Friday holidays.• Construction for new bollards is underway at several intersections on Gay Street. Some areas may be impacted on Friday mornings/afternoons, but should be open by Friday evenings. The goal is to have this project completed by June.• This event is rain or shine. Shopping/dining in the street will most likely be unavailable until the bad weather passes, but Gay Street will remain closed.• Due to Facebook's limitations, we couldn’t list every single date the Open-Air Market runs for. Join us at The Candy Lab August 24-28,2026 for our “End of” Summer Camp, 10am-noon.  Each two-hour session costs $40 (plus $2.40 sales tax). Perfect for ages 6+! We will be making edible crafts using candy, fruits and vegetables PLUS a bunch of super-fun candy-themed games.   Please note:  A minimum of 5 children per session is needed for the class to be held.

Our 60th Annual Duryea Day Antique & Classic Car & Truck Show and Flea Market will be held Saturday, September 5, from 9 am to 3 pm at Boyertown Community Park. Hundreds of vehicles will be on display throughout the park, and shuttle service is available between the Park and Museum through the duration of the event.  Pre-registration and day of show registration for show vehicles available—all makes, models, and years are welcome.  Spectator admission is $10 for adults, free for ages 12 & under.  Spectator admission includes both the Park and the Museum.
