The Gay Street Open-Air Market returns for 2026 from Friday, May 1st to Sunday, September 27th!  The Open-Air Market gives residents and visitors more space to shop, eat, and explore town. Four blocks of Gay Street are closed to vehicles every weekend, transforming into a pedestrian-friendly destination that is perfect for outdoor dining, boutique shopping, and leisurely strolls.  Important Details:• Where: Gay Street (from Matlack Street to Darlington Street)• When: Every weekend (Friday morning through Monday morning) from May 1st – September 27th• Website: www.downtownwestchester.com/openairmarket• Parking: www.downtownwestchester.com/parking  General Notes:• The streets are closed from roughly Friday at 8am to Monday at 8am.• Gay Street will also be closed to vehicles on Monday holidays and will start early on Thursdays ahead of Friday holidays.• Construction for new bollards is underway at several intersections on Gay Street. Some areas may be impacted on Friday mornings/afternoons, but should be open by Friday evenings. The goal is to have this project completed by June.• This event is rain or shine. Shopping/dining in the street will most likely be unavailable until the bad weather passes, but Gay Street will remain closed.• Due to Facebook's limitations, we couldn’t list every single date the Open-Air Market runs for. L'Italia Festival is coming back to Lititz for a 5th year! After 4 beautiful years in Lititz Springs Park, we are thrilled to announce our new location on E. Main Street between Cedar St and Cherry Ln. This location provides ample space for our many vendors, and connects with the natural beauty of Linden Hall Courtyard, Lititz Moravian's Green, Lititz Historical's Gardens, and Lititz Run. SAVE THE DATE | 19 Sept. 2026 Enjoy authentic Italian foods, cars, crafts, music, and activities throughout this fun-filled day in Lititz, PA. Bring the whole family! Our kid-zone will feature face-painting, coloring books, Italian storytelling, dancing and games. In just four years, what started as a picnic for family & friends has grown into a full-scale cultural festival with upwards of 20,000 guests.
