“Oh, the thinks you can think!” Join CCC Shines for Seussical Jr., a colorful and imaginative musical adventure bringing the beloved stories of Dr. Seuss to life on stage. From Horton the Elephant and the Cat in the Hat to Gertrude McFuzz and JoJo, this whimsical production celebrates friendship, imagination, kindness, and the importance of believing in yourself. Packed with catchy music, energetic choreography, and larger-than-life characters, Seussical Jr. is a theatrical experience full of fun for audiences of all ages. Performed by our talented summer cast, this production reflects the creativity, confidence, and community that define the CCC Shines experience. Throughout the summer, students have worked together to grow as performers, leaders, and teammates — creating memories and magic that extend far beyond the stage.

On Friday, August 14th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, drop off your stuffed animal or favorite toy at the front desk of the Chester County History Center.* We’ll take them on an adventure through our museum, even into the secret spaces that the public is usually not allowed to go! Don’t worry about missing anything; we’ll share pictures of every adventure through email, so you can check in with your friend and see what they’re up to. At 7:00PM, after we’ve tucked the stuffies into bed, we’ll read them a bedtime story that you can join in by Zoom to read along with us! This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce little ones to the joy of reuniting after a short period of separation. On Saturday, August 15th from 10:00am to 1:00pm, come pick up your friend and enjoy a scrapbooking craft of their adventures. The scrapbooking craft runs continuously, so your family can visit anytime between 10:00am to 1:00pm and still get the full experience! Tickets are $10.00 per stuffed animal, and include admission for one child and one parent or guardian for the Saturday craft activity, with access to the entire museum for the day. Get creative and put a sweet spin on embroidery! Join us for a unique, hands-on cake decorating experience where you'll use colorful sprinkles and tweezers to create your very own embroidered-inspired cake design. Each guest will receive a 5" x 3" rectangular slice of vanilla cake, layered with vanilla frosting between the layers and a smooth layer of vanilla frosting on top, ready for you to transform into your own sprinkle masterpiece. You'll have 1.5 hours to decorate your cake at your own pace. All decorating materials will be provided, along with plenty of inspiration to get your creativity flowing.
