This program is all-weather, all outdoor. Please dress for the weather, walking, and standing. The bathrooms are accessible, however, road to activities is a .33 mile walk, plus hills, some uneven pavement and ground, rocks, mud, and animal poo. Everything is subject to change, but will be communicated via Facebook and the Sheep Shearing event page discussion. Join us for a fun-filled day of celebration of Whitemarsh Township! This family-friendly event will have local businesses & organizations, crafters & other vendors, games, inflatable attractions, a petting zoo, pony rides, tons of prizes, yummy treats & food trucks, live music & entertainment, and so much more! Township Day is free to attend, but a wristband or ticket is required to participate in any of the games, rides, inflatables, petting zoo, ponies, and all other attractions! Wristbands are on sale for $20.00 up until Friday, April 24th at 4:30pm. Day of wristbands are $25.00. Wristbands provide unlimited access to games/attractions for the entire day. Join EGT-WGT for the Beat Ben Franklin Fun Run this spring! This is one of our lighthearted America250...On the Path to Independence events! Kids will race against Ben at age appropriate distances, ages 3-12YO! Ben will be racing with a kite in hand like his electricity experiment. Stay after your run and check out the South Jersey Kite Fliers, who'll be demonstrating kite flying and enjoy an activity with Malvern Library! Healthy post-race snacks included too! This is meant to be a fun-focused running event...a little about health and wellness and a little about history! So races won't be timed, no t-shirts or medals...just a fun time! The much anticipated Touch a Truck event is back again for the third year! This is a free family-friendly event designed to allow children to explore, climb, and TOUCH vehicles of all shapes and sizes as well as allow local businesses to feature their services to the community. A portion of our proceeds will be donated to the Oxford Area Recreation Authority. 12-12:30 pm will be sensory-friendly. Truck operators will refrain from flashing their lights or blowing their horns during this time. This will allow those children who are sensitive to visual and audio stimulation to enjoy the event.
