 SAVE THE DATE: CEC's Food Truck & Family Festival is back on Saturday, May 30!  Join us for an amazing lineup of food trucks, vendors, inflatables, games, raffles, and so much more!

From 1754 to 1763 the French and Indian War played out across Colonial America as the French and British fought for control of the frontier. This conflict determined not only the future of the Pennsylvania frontier but also events that put the loyal colonials on a path to revolution! Visit the French and Chester County militia campsites to learn from the soldiers about their uniforms, weapons, and strategy for fighting in the American wilderness.   Last admission at 3 PM. $12 for Adults, $8 for Children 4-12, Children under 4 are free

We are extremely excited for this one! We are bringing you the best of the best food trucks. Trucks will be competing for the title of Lancaster’s Best. We will have a panel of judges who will judge each truck and decide our winner. We will also have the community vote as well for the community choice. This is pay as you go. Entertainment generously provided by Lancaster’s best DJ, DJ Eddie Ed from E & C Entertainment. New this year:We heard you, the lines were long last year. That’s great for food trucks but not so much you. So we decided to make this a two day event. That way there’s more time and less rush to enjoy all that is offered. We realized we dropped the ball on parking last year. This year we have a designated parking team to help direct and control parking and traffic. Parking is $5 per car, no matter if there’s two or ten people inside. Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Ye Olde Yardleyville Festival, a collaborative event facilitated by Gather Place and Yardley Friends Meeting. Experience the spirit of Yardley Borough’s evolution from Yardleyville (est. 1682) while promoting community unity and peace. Family-friendly for all ages! Free and open to the public (donations welcome). Enjoy storytelling, reenactments, and traditional food and music as you explore Yardley’s rich history. A free shuttle will run continuously between locations (all walkable), and guests may join at any time during the event. Outside, enjoy traditional food (fish fry, mac & cheese, greens, cornbread) and soft inspirational sounds under the big white tent. 3:00 PM – Two Options:1. Join the Underground Railroad Guided Walking Tour, beginning at Gather Place and following the Delaware Canal State Park towpath (Lock #5) - Space is limited to 30 walkers; advance RSVP is required - contact us at info@gatherplace.org. 2. Travel back in time at the Yardley Friends Meeting House - experience the spirit of 1800s Yardleyville with a Quaker experience featuring historical displays, storytellers, and traditional olde English refreshments. 4:00 - 5 PM – Yardley Friends Meeting House - all guests return for the Closing Program & Event Conclusion

There is a $20 donation for the tour. (May 30th date is $30/ticket – partnership with the PMA for a 3-hour tour) Use your PayPal receipt as your entry for the event.
