Get ready… the piggies are back.  Riverfront Federal Credit Union is proud to host our 3rd Annual Piggy Derby Fundraiser—a fun, family-friendly event where hundreds of piggy banks race down the Wyomissing Creek… all for a great cause. Here’s how it works:Adopt your piggy, cheer it on, and watch as they race to the finish line. The first piggy across wins - simple as that.  Pig Adoptions: $10 each Race Time: Approximately 1:00 PM Open to the public - bring the whole crew This year’s race will benefit Dementia Friendly Berks County and Berks Community Cats, two organizations making a meaningful impact right here in our community. Plus, each both nonprofits will have a pig in the race - because a little friendly competition makes giving back even better. This overnight experience is designed for families with tweens & teens who are ready for something different. Nature Strong Camp Out June 6th- June 7th 4:00pm-11:00am Build fires. Wander at night. Create, move, explore or simply be. With choice-based activities and shared moments around the fire, Nature Strong Camp Out gives everyone, teens and adults alike, the freedom to find their own rhythm and come back together in meaningful ways. Kids Make a Bird House 2 hr$100 ABOUT THIS CLASS Perfect class for kids ages 6-14. The kids birdhouse class includes all the materials. Kids will learn how to use a tape measure, miter saw, clamps, hammer and nails. It will build confidence and act as a great introduction into making something with your hands. Everyone will walk away with a completed bird house! Parents are encouraged to stay, especially with the younger kids, but it's not required.

Get ready for a day of music, art, and community spirit at the 43rd Turks Head Music Festival on Sunday, June 7th from 12pm – 7pm! Held at the picturesque Everhart Park (100 South Brandywine Street) in West Chester, PA, this annual celebration brings together local artists, musicians, and vendors for a daylong extravaganza. The Turks Head Music Festival features approximately 70 artists and vendor booths set up throughout the park to sell their products and high-quality arts and crafts. Throughout the day, the two stages will feature seven local bands performing different genres of music, including Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Country, and Blues. Terrific fresh food from local vendors will be available all day long. Best of all, admission to the Turks Head Music Festival is totally free! In 2022, we were given one of the greatest honors in Bridgeport. From that year and on, June 8th is officially Frosty Falls Day in Bridgeport Borough. We will never take for granted what was given to us. So as long as we have four walls and cold freezers, we will party every year!Come for the free water ice and snacks, but stay for the awesome vendors and activities. Whether you’re from Bridgeport or not, this day is for you, Frosty fans. And we are grateful for every opportunity we get to celebrate all of the amazing things that we have done together and how much to look forward to in our future.

Join us for this BERRY sweet community event - featuring live music from "Josh Squared" Band, a petting zoo with animals from Swartz Farm, strawberry desserts, food trucks, bingo, dunk tank, raffle baskets and more! Immanuel United Church of Christ will be hosting its 5th Annual Strawberry Fest on Sunday, June 7th from 3-7pm. This community fundraiser benefits the greater Shillington community as it raises funds for outreach through Immanuel’s after school youth programs, GM Power Packs, food distributions, mental health programs and more! Bring the kiddos to build cool bug hideouts and learn all about our tiny friends! A bug hotel is a man-made structure constructed from natural or recycled materials to provide shelter, nesting sites, and winter hibernation spots for beneficial insects like solitary bees, ladybugs, butterflies, and beetles. Kids will be creating their bug hotel using a flower pot and filling it with natural elements to create a perfect nesting site for bugs. Appropriate for children 3 and up, younger children will need adult assistance. This workshop is limited to 20 people. Each person must purchase a ticket to participate, it is not allowed for two people to “share” one ticket. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required to hold your spot. *All classes last 1 hour or less* Workshop starts promptly at start time. *Terms & Conditions-Please note this is NOT a bring your own materials to this event.
