Each August, the Parks & Recreation Department presents the annual Lansdale Festival of the Arts in the beautiful setting of Memorial Park. As always, this event showcases fine artists and crafters, live music, and plenty of tasty treats to keep you going throughout the day. The festival provides an enriching experience for the entire family. So whether you are looking for an original piece of artwork, handmade craft, or just look to take in the sights and sounds of the festival, we hope you will join us in our celebration of the visual and performing arts.

Did you know that colonial people experimented with science every day? From cooking, to getting water from the well, to dyeing their clothes, every day was Science Day. Join us on the farm for 18th century science fun– discover how baking is like chemistry, use simple machines to perform chores, learn about our animals, and more!

Ahoy, landlubbers and seasoned swashbucklers! On August 29th and 30th, from 11:00-4:00. Get ready to set sail on a town-wide adventure with The Peppermint Stick's Pirate Quest right here in Boyertown! Captain Skollard and Captain Cherry have left behind a trail of secrets across town, and we need the bravest crews around to help uncover them. The Free Quest: Solve the Riddles!Everyone is invited to join in on the free portion of this exciting event! Gather your crew and follow a series of riddles scattered around Boyertown. Each clue you solve will lead you straight to the next location. Once you complete the trail and piece together the secret pirate phrase, you can submit it to enter our raffle for a chance to win a pirate themed gift basket! The Captain’s Treasure ChestFor a small fee, you can elevate your quest and test your fate for the ultimate grand prize. Choose your pirate ship and receive a special pirate key. As you explore town, hunt down the mysterious pirate skulls hiding in plain sight. Use your key to awaken the skulls so they can whisper the legendary tale of Captain Skollard and Captain Cherry. Pay close attention, because solving the riddle within their legend gives you the chance to try your key in the main Pirate's Treasure Chest. Only one lucky key in the entire realm will unlock the chest and claim the ultimate treasure inside!

We ask that you arrive at least a half-hour before our scheduled trip departure. There is parking at the location. After gathering our group, I will report to the front desk with signed liability waivers for EACH person. Secure footwear must be worn by everyone. There is a brief safety video to watch before loading the shuttles. It is roughly a 10-minute drive to CORCORAN’S BRIDGE, the starting point for your trip. Your tubes will be ready for you, upon arrival.
