Family Creek Critter Day

Take the plunge with your whole family and spend the afternoon exploring Angelica Creek! Use nets and buckets to gently dip into the water in search of macroinvertebrates – tiny, aquatic critters who can tell us a lot about the health of their aquatic home. Together we will collect and identify these fascinating creatures. Side-by-side, kids and adults will look closely at how one creek can support life of all sizes. It will be a day of exploring, hands-on science, and plenty of splashing, so come prepared to get wet!
