Scarecrows in the Village

Peddler's Village 2400 Street Road, New Hope

Every day from September 7 through October 26 An autumn tradition continues! For six fun-filled weeks, over 100 scarecrows line the brick pathways of our autumn-tinted Village. Some are inspired by famous characters, some are humorous, some are scary – but all of them are carefully handmade by Philly-area residents and organizations. The display is free and on view every day through October 26. Guests can vote for their favorite scarecrows via the Peddler’s Village mobile app. Creators of the winning scarecrows in each category win prizes.   Scarecrow Festival September 19 & 20 A weekend of fall family fun including scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment, and children’s activities. Touch a Truck

Kimberton Fire Company 762 Pike Springs Road, Phoenixville

East Pikeland Township will not be hosting our usual National Night Out event this August. Instead, we invite the community to join us for our rescheduled Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kimberton Fire Company, 762 Pike Springs Road, Phoenixville. Families can come out and explore police cars, fire trucks, public works vehicles, construction equipment, and more. We are also planning food trucks, interactive displays, and the Touch-A-Truck Explorer Pass game for kids. A sensory-friendly quiet time will be held from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, with no horns, sirens, or loud demonstrations during that time. This is a free, family-friendly community event
