    oin us for a Spring Craft Show/Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 7th 2026, at Restored Church of Pottstown, where creativity meets inspiration! From 10 am to 2 pm, immerse yourself in a world of artistry, delicious refreshments and treats, and stimulating activities for all ages. Please arrive at 10:30 am for the Egg Hunt for all ages of children, please bring a basket or bag to put your easter eggs in! Let us know you are coming, by marking down you are going! Can't wait to see you all there! Just added a flea market that'll help fund for the church's mission trip group

  • Pennsylvania’s Birthday

    The Daniel Boone Homestead Associates are excited to kick off their 2025 season with their annual Open House event – Pennsylvania’s Birthday. Formerly known as Charter Day, this event recognizes the day William Penn received his land grant for Pennsylvania from King Charles II of England in 1681. In observance of Pennsylvania’s founding, the Daniel Boone Homestead will offer an exciting open house and living history event featuring eighteenth century demonstrations, trades, and hands-on activities. Visitors can enjoy open-house tours of the Boone House and learn about the three families who lived there during the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Volunteer will be cooking a hearty meal over the open hearth and discuss the “6 Weeks of Want.” In the parlor, visitors can view an apothecary display and learn about medicine in the eighteenth century. Other buildings in the historic area will also be open for viewing including the Smokehouse, Blacksmith Shop, Homestead Barn, and Bertolet Log House. Throughout the historic area, volunteers will demonstrate spinning, blacksmithing, and gunsmithing. In the craft shop, visitors can try writing with a quill pen and learn about education in the eighteenth century. Plus, children and their families can enjoy colonial toys and games. No admission is charged for this program, but donations are welcome. Please no pets (except service animals) and no smoking on site. Several activities and demonstrations are weather dependent. This program is funded and presented by the Daniel Boone Homestead Associates.
