  • Nature Makers: Remake Learning Day

    Berks Nature 575 St. Bernardine Street, Reading, PA, United States

    Budding scientists and artists of all ages, bring your curiosity and get hands-on with nature! Participants will rotate through five “maker stations” to paint rocks, dissect owl pellets, customize a reusable canvas tote bag,   mold wildflower seed bombs, and create  pinecone bird feeders. Inspiration will flow as we learn about local wildlife, plant life cycles, and sustainable choices while making up to five take home art projects. Snacks provided and BARTA bus passes are available to participants. Everyone needs to register to ensure proper snacks and supplies. Please note, end times are approximate. Hosted by the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center, STEMFest offers students and families hands-on learning experiences focused on aviation, engineering, and all things STEM.   The event features two days of interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, science shows, food trucks, helicopter rides (additional fee), and tabletop activities led by community and industry professionals.
