Join us for our first-ever Bridge Street Car Show! We will be having the show once a month from June until September. This is a free show but a themed show. June will be 1950s cars so anything from 1950-1959 will be allowed in. Have your chance to show off your favorite car in downtown Phoenixville! Only 30 spots are available so if you wish to show off your car, email us soon at outrunnerscc@gmail.com. Put “Bridge Street Car Show” in the subject line, state your year, make and model, and we will email you back with approval! Include pictures if you wish! This is a free show and an opportunity to display your pride and joy off to everyone walking downtown! Show will be in the parking lot at 198 Bridge St on the corner of Main St and Bridge St across from Molly Maguire’s! We hope to see you there!

Saturday, July 25 8:30 a.m. Mrs. Claus and I have breakfast at Buttonwood Grill. Can’t wait for the stack of pancakes! (Call 215-794-4040 to make reservations) 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tour the sculptures of Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip, on display throughout the Village. Grab a map for the scavenger hunt! Sunday, July 26 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Stroll the Village for some last-minute gift shopping for the elves. End at the VISITOR & EVENT CENTER before departing back to the North Pole.

Join our partners at PlayIn Time Productions for a weekly, interactive musical program geared toward children ages newborn to five and their parents or caregivers. Instructor Virginia will guide you and your child through warming up their bodies with movement, practicing listening skills using activities like freeze dances, and jamming to classic and new tunes. PlayIn Time’s Music Circles build musical connection and community through shared fun. Get ready to dance, jam, and learn!  Things to know:  Classes will run on Friday mornings from 10:15am – 11:00am, June 19th through August 14th (no class on July 3)  Join for the whole series or just for one or two sessions. Registration is available on PlayIn Time’s website, linked below.  If you have them, you are welcome to bring your own shakers, sticks, or other percussive instruments.  Classes will be held outside on the Great Lawn so bring a blanket or lawn pad to sit on.  Please note that, while the program is geared toward younger ages, siblings ages 6 and older are welcome and can attend free of charge.  register now

What kind of critters come awake after dark? Join educators for a nighttime investigation into the world of nocturnal invertebrates as we celebrate National Moth Week! This citizen science program is held worldwide and celebrates the beauty, life cycles, and habitats of moths. We will take an up-close look at these often overlooked, but incredibly important, animals and do a survey of nocturnal insects at the Norristown Farm Park! This program is $5.00 per person. This event takes place RAIN OR SHINE! Bring the whole family to the Sanctuary to discover and learn all about local Appalachian flora, fauna, and more at a variety of stations in and around the Visitor Center and Native Habitat Garden. There will also be an interactive live musical program by local musician, Dave Kline. Participants who turn in their completed station passport will be entered to win a prize pack! This event is ADA accessible. 2025 Schedule: 10 AM - 2 PM: Raptor Adaptations in the Visitor Center Meet some of our avian ambassadors Animal Tracks in the Visitor Center Learn to identify the tracks left behind by local forest animals. Migration Station in the Visitor Center Marvel at the magic and mystery of migration! Tree Identification in the Information Pavilion Discover how to identify common trees of the Appalachian forest. Naturalists in the Native Habitat Garden Chat with a Hawk Mountain naturalist about the plants and animals living in the garden and pond. 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM: Raptors Up Close in the Amphitheater Meet some of our avian ambassadors and learn about what makes a raptor! 12:00 PM: Mountain Folk Music for Kids in the Amphitheater Join local musician Dave Kline for interactive immersion into the culture of Appalachian folk music and lore related to the great outdoors.

There is a $20 donation for the tour. Use your PayPal receipt as your entry for the event. Click the date of your choice below to pay and register for this event. Please keep your PayPal receipt as your ticket into the event.  You will receive an email before the event with further instructions.  Be patient as we need to check on weather forecast about 72-48 hours before the event to make any final calls.  You will be offered another walking tour if this one is canceled due to rain.
