Jubilee Cake & Creative Studio

I learned about this cake studio when we were looking for a fun winter break activity that was unique and different, after seeing it was just an hour and half drive from us and there were other nearby things to do I was ready to make a day of it. I love that this decorate-it-yourself cake studio has a play space area and even serves many styles of mac n cheese among other yummy goodies!

Let’s get into it! The studio offers workshops, birthday parties and walk-in options.

We were able to take part in the walk-in options which are priced ala-carte

  • ½ dozen cupcakes start at $22
  • ½ dozen cookies start at $22
  • Cookie cakes start at $22
  • Cakes start at $25

We did the Family Fun Kit which includes 1 cake and your choice of ½ dozen cupcakes or ½ dozen cookies. 3 bags of frostings, 3 large fondants, and 3 bags of sprinkles — all for $57

Emma being the chocolate lover she is chose a chocolate fondant covered cake with matching additional chocolate fondant, chocolate icing and an accent of gold sprinkles.

Emma enjoyed rolling the fondant, laying the icing and sprinkles plus the wall of tools helps give some ideas for designs! We didn’t have a specific design in mind, she just wanted chocolate explosion basically. They have all kinds of tools to help you create patterns, cookie cutters to help make shapes, and more.

We also enjoyed some play time in the mini mansions area which is an imaginative space with 15 play houses and even a 13 foot pirate ship!

Pricing for this area is:

  • Children 1 and older are $15/each for up to 2 hours of playtime
  • Additional siblings are just $10/each
  • Children under 1 are free with a paid PARENT pass (limit one free child per parent)
  • Additional children under 1 are $5/each for 2 hours of playtime
  • Parents enter for just $5/parent
  • Jubilee’s Studio grippy socks are required and are available to purchase for $3/pair

Most play spaces have a snack area to purchase food, but I LOVED that Jubilee had that PLUS a Mac n Cheese menu with 8 signature dishes and build-your own options.

There’s also a coffee bar, fountain drinks, snacks, lots of flavors of cupcakes and more. Please Note, no outside food or beverage is allowed in their facility.

All in all, I would absolutely recommend Jubilee Cake & Creative Studio for a family-fun day. Having an activity, play space and food all in one place is so convenient and Tawanna and her staff make it fun and easy so you can enjoy your time. Thank you for having us, let me know if you have any additional questions.
