Join the Sellersville Fire Department’s 2026 Carnival, July 7-11, at 2 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA. Enjoy free parking, games, concessions, rides, and nightly bingo at 7 p.m. throughout the week. Wristband nights run Tuesday through Thursday, July 7-9, with all-you-can-ride wristbands available from 6 p.m. until close. Friday, July 10 features regular ride prices plus a fireworks display, and Saturday, July 11 offers regular prices, serving as the fireworks rain date. Please note that wristbands are not valid for the Fun House or Ferris Wheel, and an ATM is on-site for cash-only SFD food purchases.

Saturdays, June 13 through September 5 10 am to 4 pm Step into the past this summer at the Speaker’s House with our Living History Saturdays series, kicking off on Flag Day weekend. From Flag Day through Labor Day weekend, the grounds will come alive every Saturday with engaging, hands-on demonstrations that bring 18th-century life into vivid focus. Visitors can explore the daily experiences of Revolutionary War soldiers, witness traditional hearth cooking, and learn skilled crafts like tape weaving and wood turning. Additional demonstrations include historic laundry practices, trades of the period, and other immersive activities that reveal the rhythms of early American life. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply looking for a fun weekend outing, Living History Saturdays offer a dynamic and educational experience for all ages. Celebrate Elmo’s adoption of his sweet and adorable puppy Tango at Sesame Place Philadelphia with all things Tango! Festivities include Elmo & Tango's Gotcha Day Scavenger Hunt, the Furry Friends Gotcha Day Celebration Dance Party, and special photo opportunities with Tango, Barkley, and their friends dressed in puppy-themed costumes around the park. Kids will collaborate as they direct, record, edit, and more to make a friendship film that celebrates how we’re better when we come together. Devices provided. For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.

Come on out Celebrate Crystal Cave's 155th anniversary on Saturday July 11th. We will be open from 9am to 7 pm. Virginville Fire Company will have two of their fire trucks here from 11am to 4 pm for people to look at and talk to the local fire fighters. Tim Ferris from Extract and Box LLC. will be giving two demonstrations about honeybees at noon and 3pm. A representative from PA Bat Conservation and Rehabilitation will be giving a demonstration at 130 pm. Other things to see and do are dime toss for crystal cave glasses, Dunk tank...Try your luck at dunking one of our staff members and even the president of the company. Miniature golf, Panning for Gems, two rock and souvenir shops, ice cream parlor serving delicious Hershey Ice cream and our food building will be open. We are roasting a pig for pull pork sandwiches and there will be anniversary cake. Stayed tuned for more posts

Experience a pivotal moment in local history at the Muhlenberg House, commemorating the 250th anniversary of Henry and Mary Muhlenberg’s return to Trappe in July 1776. Fleeing the uncertainty of war in Philadelphia after the Declaration of Independence, the Muhlenbergs sought refuge in what they hoped would be a peaceful new home—though history would soon prove otherwise. Throughout the day, visitors can explore the house on tours led by interpreters in period clothing stationed in each room and explore the colonial herb garden. Living history demonstrations will showcase the skills and daily tasks of the 1700s. Kids can join in colonial-era games and hands-on activities, making this a fun and engaging experience for the whole family. A full-size Conestoga wagon will also be on display, illustrating how families like the Muhlenbergs transported their belongings across the countryside. The Speaker's House and kitchen garden will also be open for tours and are included with paid admission for the Move-In Day event. Location: The Muhlenberg House, 201 W. Main St. Trappe, PA. Parking will be available across the street at St. Luke’s Church, 200 W. Main St. Cost: $10 Members. $12 Non-Members. Kids are free. Check-in at the Visitor Center behind the Muhlenberg House to purchase tickets.

America turns 250 years old this year! Celebrate by learning about our National Symbol, the Bald Eagle. Come meet our resident eagle, Vega, as she wishes us a Happy 250th! Participants will learn about the bald eagle’s history, habitat, diet, vocalizations and more! A craft and hands-on fun will be included. For children ages 4 - 8. Weather permitting. Suggested donation of $4 per person. Pre-registration is required; space is limited. Saturday, July 11, 2026 Thorn Alley at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts Free Admission Get ready for a day filled with live music, family fun, and community celebration as Berks Arts brings the 4th Annual Berks Summer Fest to GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. This free, family-friendly festival transforms Thorn Alley into a vibrant gathering place featuring live performances throughout the day, hands-on activities for children, face painting, a magic show, lawn games, local vendors, and more. Visitors are encouraged to explore the galleries and creative spaces throughout GoggleWorks while enjoying a full day of entertainment. The 2026 music lineup includes: • Bennie Sims & The Groovemasters • Dexter Sales Quartet • Caya Sol Reggae Band • Flamin’ Dick & The Hot Rods Guests are also invited to support the community by bringing non-perishable food donations for Helping Harvest, which will have collection bins onsite throughout the festival. July's Inside the Wild program explores the physical and behavioral traits that help wildlife survive in their environments. Participants will investigate structural adaptations (such as claws, teeth, and fur), behavioral adaptations (including burrowing, hibernation, and foraging), and camouflage as they relate to specific habitats and ecosystems. Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, students will analyze how form and function, environmental pressures, and survival strategies shape wildlife over time. This session strengthens scientific vocabulary, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of how animals are adapted to thrive in the wild

Natural Lands’ NextGen Council invites families to meet up for a few hours of fun and exploration. All activities are free, but registration is requested. At the pavilion: Make crafts to take home. Enjoy lounging, lawn games, and outdoor fun. Small snacks will be available for CASH-ONLY purchase. Pints for the grown-ups (cash or credit card). At Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround Search for clues for the Ollie Owl Scavenger Hunt. Climb logs, build stick teepees, hunt for bugs, explore small streams, and get a little dirty, tired, and inspired. Free play is encouraged and is a great way for kids to gain an appreciation for nature. Ollie Owl’s NaturePlayGround is designed for children ages 4 to 12 years old, but older kids and adults have fun, too. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Kiddos are encouraged to explore at their own pace, so stay and play as little or long as you like in this drop-in event. This event is made possible by the generous support of the Kulicke Fund.
