Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip

Peddler's Village 2400 Street Road, New Hope

Buckle up and unfold your map! The giant sand sculptures are returning this summer. For the fifth consecutive year, Peddler’s Village will present a Village-wide sand sculpture display created by world-renowned sand artists. “Sights in Sand: An American Road Trip” will celebrate the iconic landmarks and history of our nation, now in its 250th year. It’s not every day you can travel across the county in just an hour or two (by foot, no less!) to experience the five major regions–Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West–and the fantastic features of each. But this year at Peddler’s Village, we’ve made it possible! You’ll see the Statue of Liberty, the Kennedy Space Center, Mount Rushmore, the Golden Gate Bridge, and more. This free display is open to the public and will be on view to Village pedestrians through August 31. In addition to viewing the sand sculptures, visitors can shop at 60 specialty store and boutiques, dine indoors or outside, and enjoy spectacular gardens and landscaping. Families can enjoy Giggleberry Fair, the indoor fun center. Spacious overnight accommodations are available at the Golden Plough Inn.

Family Creek Critter Day

6th Annual Christmas in July

We’re amping up for the 6th annual Christmas in July event! In addition to all of the fun things you come to expect, we are adding 2-30 minute long Christmas Magic shows at 1:15 and 3:15!The big man himself will be here handing out toys for everyone on both the nice and naughty list. Our balloon guy will be twisting up some of the cutest balloon creations ever seen.Growing Bridgeport Together will be setting up with an amazing lineup of vendors in our parking lot.We will be bringing back our special Santa menu including one of the first batches of pumpkin ice cream from Bassetts, just to give you a little taste of fall while it’s still 90°.
